Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Technology: How technically challenging was your project? We’ll consider the complexity of what you built, the technical hurdles you overcame, and the ingenuity of your solutions. Design: How intuitive and easy to use is your project? We’ll look at the interface, the overall user experience, and how thoughtfully your design meets your users’ needs. Completion: How much did you build, and how well does it work? We’ll consider whether your core features function as intended and how successfully your demo brings your idea to life. Learning: What did you learn during the hackathon? We’ll consider the new tools, technologies, or skills you explored and how you pushed beyond your previous experience. Be ready to share what was new to your team!
